Please read carefully before taking part in any Wilder Wellbeing Nature Walk, Forest Walk, Woodland Wander or Night Nature Walk. By attending, you agree to the following terms -
1. Personal Responsibility
I understand that nature‑based activities including walking in forests, woodlands, fields, uneven ground, low‑light conditions and night‑time environments carry inherent risks. These may include slips, trips, falls, low branches, roots, uneven terrain, wildlife encounters, changing weather and reduced visibility during night walks.
I accept full responsibility for my own safety, wellbeing and actions during the session.
2. Health & Fitness
I confirm that I am physically able to take part in a gentle to moderate nature walk and that I will listen to my body, take breaks when needed and inform the facilitator of any concerns.
I understand that Wilder Wellbeing sessions are not a substitute for medical care and I take part at my own discretion.
3. Clothing & Equipment
I agree to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear appropriate for forests, woodlands and night‑time conditions, including:
- sturdy shoes or boots
- warm layers
- waterproofs if needed
- a torch or headlamp for night walks
I understand that it is my responsibility to bring water and any personal items I may need.
4. Environment & Respect
I agree to follow the facilitator’s guidance to ensure the safety of the group and the protection of the natural environment. This includes staying on designated paths, respecting wildlifeand keeping noise to a mindful level during night walks.
5. Weather & Cancellations
I understand that sessions may continue in light rain or changing weather, but may be postponed or cancelled if conditions become unsafe. I will be notified as soon as possible.
7. Liability
By attending, I acknowledge that I participate at my own risk. I release Wilder Wellbeing and its facilitator, Petrina Wright, from any liability for injuries, accidents or loss of personal property that may occur during the walk.
