Rest and Reflect in Nature

Sat 26 Sept

|

Location in Rural Leicestershire

As the leaves begin to fall and the air turns crisp, this gentle retreat invites you to pause and reflect. Rooted in the practice of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing), we’ll spend time immersed in woodland stillness—awakening the senses, calming the mind, and honouring the season of release and renewal.

About the event

Immerse yourself in an autumnal guided forest bathing experience

Whether you are familiar with the rejuvenating practice of forest bathing or just starting out, these sessions offer a delightful and serene opportunity to rediscover your childlike sense of wonder, immersing yourself in the beauty of nature and leaving with a feeling of peace and tranquillity.

What to expect

We begin the experience in a tranquil, sheltered spot where you will be guided through breathing techniques and visualisation to promote calmness and focus. Next, you will be invited to awaken your senses with a variety of exercises as you mindfully walk through the woods. Some exercises are quiet and introspective, while others are lively and playful. As we finish the walk, you will be encouraged to connect with the earth by going barefoot and practicing grounding techniques. Following this, you will be guided through mindful movements during a Tai Chi Qigong…
